Formantique is a formant filter audio plugin that simulates the resonant
characteristics of the human vocal tract. It uses five parallel bandpass
filters to create vowel-like formant resonances, allowing you to morph
between different vowel sounds and shape the harmonic character of any
audio signal.
 
Formant filters work by emphasizing specific frequency bands that
correspond to the resonant frequencies of the vocal tract. These
frequencies are called formants, and they are what give different
vowels their distinct character. Formantique allows you to morph
between five vowel sounds (A, E, I, O, U) and apply various shaping
parameters to create unique vocal effects.
