EH-1 is a vintage-style preamp and tone shaper that gives you four distinct characters in one plugin. Whether you want a bit of warmth on a vocal, weight on a bass, punch on drums, or full-on drive, you get there by choosing a mode and using the simple set of controls. There are no hidden menus or extra pages; everything you need is on the main panel.
 
The four modes. Mode I - Tube Harmonics delivers smooth, warm saturation with a classic tube feel; use it for gentle thickening and glue. Mode II - Neve Transformer models the weight and rounded low-mids of transformer-coupled preamps; it adds body and a sense of size. Mode III - API Punch brings forward mids and transient snap; ideal for drums, bass, and anything that needs cut and definition. Mode IV - Overdriven Tubes pushes into heavier saturation and harmonic crunch; turn it up for grit and attitude.
 
Controls. Input Gain and Output Gain let you trim level going in and match level coming out, so you can A/B with and without the plugin at the same perceived volume. Drive sets how hard the preamp stage is hit: low for light colour, high for more saturation and harmonics. Tone shapes the frequency balance so you can brighten or darken the result to fit the source. The plugin loads with a neutral setting so your signal passes through clean until you increase Drive or change the mode.
 
Interface. EH-1 uses a space-themed layout with multiple colour schemes so you can match your workspace. The controls are clearly labelled and easy to read at a glance.t
