Saturdial is a mid-side saturation plugin. It encodes the stereo signal into mid (centre) and side (stereo difference), applies saturation to each with separate amount controls, then decodes back to stereo. So you can add drive to the centre without over-saturating the sides, or push the sides for width and movement while keeping the mid cleaner. Four saturation types (Tape, Tube, Digital, Fuzz) give you different harmonic characters.
 
Saturation Type selects the algorithm: Tape for a softer, tape-like saturation; Tube for warmer, smoother harmonics; Digital for a cleaner, more modern edge; Fuzz for aggressive, fuzzy distortion. Drive sets how hard the saturation is hit: low for subtle colour, high for obvious distortion. Mid Amount controls how much saturation is applied to the mid (centre) signal. Side Amount controls how much is applied to the side (stereo) signal. So you can saturate only the mid, only the sides, or both in different amounts. Output Gain trims the level after processing. Mix blends the dry and processed signals for parallel saturation or full wet.
 
The processing is done in mid-side domain so the stereo image stays under your control. Parameter smoothing helps avoid clicks when you change settings. All parameters are automatable.
